Excerpt/First Sentence(s):
The stormy, gloomy day trapped Sebella inside her home. "Arghhh," she sighed. Kneeling on the couch, she banged her head on the window, causing the glass to rattle like the tail of a snake. She slapped her hands against the pane making a thunderous clap. Her fingers curled as her pink nails scratched the glass, causing a spine-tingling chill.
"What's going on?" her mom asked.
Sebella slid off the couch like a limp noodle. "I'm sooooo bored. I need adventure."
"Not every day has to be an adventure. Sometimes it's nice to be home, safe and sound with your family," Sebella's mom said.
Sebella tilted her head to gaze at her mom. What is she rambling on about?
